Ecclesiastes 10:2 – good political guidance
· "A wise man's heart [is] at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left."(KJV)
· "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left."(NIV)
Pay attention to these principles:
1. People should voluntarily treat their fellows liberally - generously and with tolerance, patience, and assistance in times of need.
2. People naturally treat the deserving liberally. Beneficiaries behave better to please benefactors, reducing crime and increasing responsibility.
3. Government should treat people conservatively so as not to destroy the voluntary nature of liberal treatment.
